PhoneLeash launches OTP cards for quicker OTP access

2 min read

When a verification code lands in your inbox, you shouldn't have to read a whole paragraph to find it. To make finding and copying the OTP quicker, PhoneLeash is launching OTP cards: OTPs presented in a clean, consistent format each and every time.

We're enabling this for selected user cohorts first while we fine-tune it. Want it on your account? Email support@phone-leash.com and we'll switch it on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this change my other forwarded texts?

No. Only one-time verification codes are reformatted into the card. Every other message is forwarded in full, exactly as before.

How do I get the OTP card on my account?

It's rolling out to selected user cohorts first. If you'd like it enabled on your account, email support@phone-leash.com and we'll turn it on.

What languages are supported?

OTP cards currently support codes sent in English and other Latin-script languages. OTP cards are not yet supported for non-Latin scripts (Korean, Arabic, Chinese) — these users will see the full OTP message, as usual.

What if I want to see the OTP text?

No problem. Email support@phone-leash.com and we'll turn the OTP card off for your account, so your codes arrive as the original full message.
