Does the Phone Running PhoneLeash Need to Be On?

Yes. The phone running PhoneLeash needs to be powered on and able to receive incoming texts. PhoneLeash forwards messages as they arrive, so if the phone is off, there's nothing to forward.

Internet Requirements

Forwarding to email: the phone needs internet access (cellular data or WiFi).

Forwarding to another phone number: internet access is not required, except during the initial app setup. PhoneLeash sends the forwarded text over the cellular text channel directly.
