Automatically Removing Signature Block in Replies

Email clients usually append a signature to outgoing replies. If you reply to a forwarded text from email, that signature can show up in the reply that gets sent back as a text message — making the reply look messy and unprofessional.

PhoneLeash strips signature blocks automatically, but only if they're marked with a standard signature separator.

The Fix

In your email client's signature settings, add one of these lines at the very top of your signature block:

• Three dashes on a line by themselves: ---
• Two dashes followed by a space: --

Both follow standard email signature conventions. Once you save your signature with this separator, PhoneLeash will remove everything below it from your text replies.
