SIM-Based Forwarding
On a dual-SIM Android device, you can choose which SIM's incoming texts get forwarded. This is useful if one SIM is for personal use and the other is for work, and you only want one stream of messages reaching your forwarding destination.
How It Works
- The SIM selection screen appears in the wizard only on dual-SIM devices with two active SIMs.
- Each detected SIM is shown with its phone number (or carrier name if the number isn't available).
- Tick the SIMs whose messages you want forwarded. You can pick one, both, or neither.
- Outgoing messages from a SIM follow the same setting as incoming.
When the Screen Doesn't Appear
If your device only has a single active SIM, the SIM selection screen is skipped automatically — there's nothing to choose. If you later add or activate a second SIM, you'll see the screen the next time you walk through Settings.
Heads up: Detecting SIMs requires the Phone permission. PhoneLeash asks for this on the destination screen during setup, so by the time the SIM screen appears, the permission is already in place.
Changing Your Choice Later
Open PhoneLeash and tap Settings to walk through the wizard again. The SIM selection screen will reappear with your current choices preselected — adjust and tap Next to save.
