Does PhoneLeash Forward MMS or Picture Messages on iPhone?
No. On iPhone, PhoneLeash can only forward the text portion of incoming messages. MMS attachments — pictures, audio clips, video, and contact cards — are not forwarded.
Why?
iPhone forwarding relies on Apple's Shortcuts automation. The Shortcuts “Message” trigger gives PhoneLeash the sender and the message text, but it does not expose any attachments. This is a platform limitation that affects every SMS forwarding app on iPhone — not something specific to PhoneLeash.
If a friend sends you a photo, the email you receive will include any caption they typed, but the photo itself stays on your iPhone.
If You Need Attachments
PhoneLeash for Android forwards MMS pictures, RCS attachments, and even WhatsApp messages as email attachments. If attachment forwarding is important to you, an Android device alongside your iPhone is the most reliable path today.
