Forwarding to Another Phone

You can forward incoming texts to a second phone number. The destination phone does not need PhoneLeash installed — only the source phone (the one whose messages you want forwarded) does.

Tip: If you can use email instead, see forwarding to an email address. Email is accessible across multiple devices and replies are much easier.

Setup Steps

  1. Install PhoneLeash from the Play Store or www.phone-leash.com.
  2. Accept all permission requests.
  3. When asked where to forward, choose the phone number option.
  4. Enter the destination phone number. Double-check for typos.
  5. Leave the rest of the settings at their defaults for now.
  6. Watch for the “PhoneLeash is registered” confirmation message.

Test It

Use a third phone to send a test text to the phone running PhoneLeash — not the destination phone. The forwarded message should arrive on your destination phone within seconds.

If Messages Aren't Forwarding

  • Verify that the destination number was entered correctly.
  • Disable any firewall or antivirus app and try again.
